A sad day in my life was, In February 2008, while during training I suffered a heart at[1]tack. I was rushed to the hospital where a clogged artery was opened and a week later, I went into open heart surgery. I received four bypasses and some stents to keep other main arteries open. It took me several months to recover. Months I was not able to train and teach Taekwon-Do, this was a very dark period in my life. The good news was: I survived and the surgeon assured me this was because of my strong heart and body. Thank you, Taekwon-Do!
